Aberdeen Harbour is a multi-use port which handles more than 9,000 vessels each year. The port is recognised as the premier marine support centre for Europe’s energy industry, as well as the main commercial port serving the North East of Scotland and a lifeline port for the Highlands.

The port’s multi-million-pound South Harbour expansion is the largest marine infrastructure project underway in the UK, and will open in 2022. As the most ambitious development for trade around the North Sea, the expansion will significantly increase opportunities for new and existing industries, while acting as a vital piece of infrastructure for the development of Scotland’s offshore wind industry.
